Samanta Marile Ibanez (b. 1987, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a contemporary artist whose creative journey began in early childhood. She graduated from the Eduardo Balsio menų gimnazija in Lithuania and later studied at the Vilniaus dailės akademija, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Costume Design in 2009.

After graduation, she co-founded the international streetwear brand Mad Pico Streetwear together with Martynas Ilgauskas. The brand focused on graphic design, screen printing, digital printing, and embroidery. Their collections reached international markets and were distributed through alternative fashion boutiques across Germany (Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Magdeburg), Australia, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, and Russia. In 2010, Mad Pico Streetwear was presented at the globally recognized London Edge exhibition.

Samanta later expanded into graphic design collaborations for alternative music and fashion scenes, working with Bandworms Records, Swedish rock band Perkele, and Hooligan Streetwear.

Art and water sports are inseparable parts of her daily life. Nature — the sea, waves, and wind — reconnects her with human authenticity and inspires her creative flow. Surfing, kitesurfing, longboarding, meditation, travel, tattoo culture, music, and visual arts form the core of her artistic inspiration.

Therefore, Paintings are my creative stories, as if paused moments from endless travels, photographs, movies..the camera button was not pressed in time.

These are mini-passages – the faces of people you meet but do not know, the stories told by the feeling of freedom, the roar of the sea or the wind. The main inspiration – surfing, kiting, longboarding, travel, tattoo, music and art. My creative works are intended for individualists who want to stand out in a unique style when decorating the interior of cafes, shops, boutiques, beauty, tattoo studios, maybe office or home.
